Intensive Trauma Care Unit (ITCU)
Designed on the American College of Surgeons,
Advanced Life Trauma Support guidelines with 2 beds.
For management and monitoring of critically ill patients after
multiple fractures and major surgeries. Approximately 25 critically
injuries patients managed successfully every year. Particularly
useful for patients with multiple fractures includes pelvic,
acetabular, chest and abdominal injuries and major long bone
fractures.
Equipped with Central oxygen, suction, ventilator, monitoring
with pulse oxymeter, Noninvasive blood pressure(NIBP), ECG and
Defibrillator.
Medical staff looking after the ITCu includes and intensivist,
trained nurse and round the clock presence of qualified doctor.
